On 18 and 19 June, we hosted Mrs. Edyta Owadowska-Cornil – Project Monitor, who is the support for Slowinski National Park from the European Commission. The tasks of the monitors primarily include the assessment of the project, its compliance with the planned budget and Common Provisions, as well as supporting the beneficiaries in the implementation of the project, through counselling, among others, and also serving as liaisons with the European Commission.

One of the forms of fulfilling the abovementioned tasks is the annual visit to the beneficiaries. During the visit of Mrs. Edyta Owadowska-Cornil, together with the Project Team, all measures realized so far were discussed. We also received a number of tips and advice on how to properly carry out the project. During the visit, we also acquainted Mrs. Edyta with the areas, where in the framework of the project, three measures will be implemented: “Improvement of the habitat condition of wetland birds”, “Renaturisation of the bottom of Lupawa Valley; of the lowland and submontane river with the communities of water-crawfoots (3260-1), of the oxbow lakes (3150-2) and ash-alder riparian forests (*91E0)”, and “Restoration of the wildlife corridor by construction of a fish pass”.
